In 1973, Bona Arsenault, long time liberal deputy, relaunches his electoral campaign. This documentary is a portrait both of him and of the electoral attitudes of the time. The video traces his car trip through Matapédia, a little tour of the electoral machine, showing Bona Arsenault in public and private life. In private, he talks about his electoral know-how and his pension. In public, he gives speeches about increasing family allowances and welfare payments, as well as a revolutionary presence in the Parti Québécois.
